Giving Tuesday is a big deal though, I cannot express how it helps keep the doors open. PGE has us at a complete standstill, and now with the rain, we have yet another week before the tree guys can come back to work. Alot of our opportunities are on hold until we can put this ranch back together.
The horses are back on property, but misplaced. The paddocks are all reconfigured and the matts have not been moved to catch up to the new location. Matts are heavy and not easily lugged around. We are concerned about mud and horses standing in wet soggy grounds. We are operating on a very thin crew as we await the work to be completed.
Our event as many of you know is this Saturday.11am! It is really shaping up to be fantastic. The gift baskets are beautiful, raffle prizes are tempting and well ~~ Hecker Pass wine? Count me in!
Stay tuned as I share this week from afar...I am in Lake Tahoe helping my daughter move to Truckee. Snow has made its appearance and I just love this time of year. Crunching snow under my boots, tails wagging in front of me, and the serenity. The quiet is a soft warm nest. I wrap myself up and sleep like I did as a little kid. Sweet Dreams ~ More tomorrow!
