The amazing wonderful story behind the sadness of all this neglect is a coalition of people all working to do the right thing by these horses. It's based entirely on trust and that persons good word. If you think the days of a promise and a handshake are long gone, join the rescue efforts going on in our nation. Sabrina, Danielle, these women don't know me. They take my word when I say I'll get funds to you. The woman who hauled these horses from the Sunnyside lot in Washington and delivered them safely to Salem, Oregon hasn't even connected with me yet. I owe her for the haul. This kind of cooperation and trust fills my heart and keeps me ever hopeful, that change can occur. This nightmare of slaughter will end.
Below is the heartbreaking truth of a gorgeous family separated. This white mare has four gruella foals with her. Most likely all her offspring, a foal, a yearling, a two year old and on her right her eldest. I am still researching to see how many of them were purchased into private homes. I believe the mare to be devastated as this was not her choice. This reminds me of the Wild Mustang Round Ups ...families being destroyed. As I obtain information I will post. Until Wednesday~~Lynn
