It is with heartfelt thanks I send out this note. What a tremendous response we have received to step up and help these mares. These girls, pregnant , unloved, and treated as a commodity are about to step into a world they don’t know even exists!

            We are anxious to welcome them with open hearts and shower them with the love and care they deserve. A kind word, a soft touch, & good medical attention are all waiting for them.

            We couldn’t do it without your support. I thank each and every one of you.

It is a miracle to watch the transformation that will take place. The sad vacant eyes, and the hopelessness they hold will slowly ebb away. In disbelief they will begin to trust, even believe its ok to look forward to treats and the human visitors.

The first time they nicker when you show up will bring tears to your eyes.

Urgent Winter Pregnant Horse Rescue- 1/21/12 through 2/11/12 Deadline

We are raising money to adopt 3 pregnant mares of 200 horses needing rescue before they go to slaughter within the month. These are beautiful horses.  Draft mix, registered and grade Quarter horses from former PMU ranches in North Dakota on the Canadian border.
